Straight Woman’s Ode to PRIDE

My Queer Eye for the Straight Girl moment before that was a thing. This ODE is written in honor of the Drag Queens at the Re-Bar in Seattle, WA. circa 1990 something.

I keep reading about how straight white women benefit most from Title 9, from Affirmative action, and any policy that challenges the status quo. My own personal experience can only support the data, and I thought it was time to articulate why and how. On top of my list, is a deep thank you to the LGBTQ+ community in Seattle, in the 1990s, right after I graduated college.
